Harvest 2020 : An exceptional year !

14th September – End of the 2020 harvest at Château de la Ragotière!

It was almost 3 weeks early compared to other years that the harvest began on August 27 at the estate with Pinot Gris then Muscadet and finally Chardonnay.

Our unusual grape varieties such as Riesling and Viognier were harvested manually, what a pleasure to see such beautiful golden bunches !

This extraordinarily early vintage promises wines of great freshness with superb balance.

A little more patience before the late harvest of Petit Manseng which will mark the end of the harvest for this year full of surprises …
